Our WAYFC football players and cheerleaders will be announced Friday, Septmber17th 2010 at theWHS football game. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The kids are usually announced during halftime. A verbal announcement will be made to your team/squad or a note sent home with your child, from the coach or team parent, with the details for this event. This is not required but an exciting night for our youth and a chance to have our youth program recognized by the community. Let's not forget that most of the players and cheerleaders in High School were once a part of our program. So, come join us for some fun, support the school & community, and cheer on the Hornets to a victory!!! |

The 2010 WHS Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Friday, October 1st. The football players and cheerleaders will be participating in the parade to show our support and to cheer the Hornets on to a victory. The parade is usually scheduled during school hours, near the end of the school day. A letter will be sent home with your child ahead of time that explains what you need to know. A permission slip, regarding after school/parade transportation, will also be sent home with Riverview and Redgranite students. Go Hornets !!! |

On Saturday, October 23rd, 2010 we will be having our Athletic Acheivement banquet at Parkside School. More details will follow. This is a great time for the players and cheerleaders and gives us the opportunity to wrap up the season. Equipment turn-in is also done at this time. Please clean all the gear so it can be placed in the storage totes for next season. |

Denise Martin is our Event Coordinator for WAYFC. She is in charge of the Raffle for our 2010 season.
This raffle is one of the big ways WAYFC earns money to support our local organization with new equipment, uniforms, insurance, officials, awards, use/maintanance of facilities, and maintaining a WAYFC scholarship fund...and therefore keeps registration costs down.
Each child is responsible to sell 4 packs of raffle tickets (24 total tickets). We have plenty of tickets for those willing to sell more. Prizes will be awarded to those selling the most. These are cash prizes and will be awarded at the end of the year Academic Acheivement Banquet.
The raffle winners will be announced at the September 25th, 2010 home football games. Tickets will need to be turned in by Sept. 20th.
Denise or Dave Martin will be at every practice for you to hand in tickets, money, and to get more tickets. Any questions or concerns call Denise at 920.295.8195 Thank you and good luck!! |

Football Scrimmage scheduled for Saturday, August 14th 2010. The Scrimmage will be home at the Wautoma High School football field. More details to come. |
